Grand Re-Opening
Saturday June 21st
We’re excited to announce that Shoeless Joe’s is officially re-opening on Saturday, June 21st! It’s been a long journey with a few unexpected detours (including roof damage and a full renovation), but we’re finally getting back to what we love—cards, collectibles, and community.
In the meantime, we’re in and out of the shop most days as we finish setting up. While we might not have consistent hours just yet, feel free to stop by and say hi if you see the lights on! We’re doing our best to be available, but please excuse any spotty hours between now and our grand re-opening.
Shoeless Joe’s Business Overview – Store Status Update – May 2025
Shoeless Joe’s is now under new ownership. While our intent was to maintain the store’s
familiar atmosphere with only minor cleanup and reorganization, an unexpected storm this past week has temporarily altered those plans.
A severe weather system moved through the Cincinnati area, causing substantial damage to our building — including a partial roof collapse and significant water intrusion. The historicrainfall in the days that followed further complicated the situation, resulting in the need for a full roof replacement along with new carpeting and ceiling work throughout the space.
Fortunately, because we were already in the process of preparing the store, we were able to preserve a large portion of the inventory, which is now safely stored off-site. Although our full reopening will be delayed, we intend to open as soon as possible for the sale of sealed boxes and wax. The remainder of the store will return once renovations are
completed.
